Role Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company's needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy.

Job Description

Working with a team of other developers to create new applications/products or improve existing ones
Researching new technologies and techniques to determine if they could be applied to current projects
Analysing data to identify patterns or problems that may require changes to current processes or systems
Working with management to create a roadmap for new projects or applications, including milestones and deadlines
Communicating clearly with other members of the development team about architectural designs and plans for new projects
Documenting all development work in a way that can be used to reproduce results
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
Training and guiding new team members on the required technologies
Assigning and Reviewing code work of team for accuracy and functionality.
Creating and implementing design plans and Analysing code segments regularly.

Key Skills

Extensive knowledge of software development and its technologies.
Has mentored junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and DevOps trade-offs
Deep understanding of one backend technology like Java/JEE/Spring, python/Django/FastAPI/Flask.
Deep understanding of JSON, XML, REST, NoSQL Database (MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed System, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns.
Understanding of frontend technologies like Javascript, JQuery, React. React Native, Angular
Deep understanding of distributed data model.
Proficient in OLAP, OLTP and ETL tools.
Understand emerging web and mobile development models
Experienced with all ancillary technologies necessary for Internet applications: HTTP, TCP/IP, POP/SMTP, etc.
High scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability
